I teach 2nd grade.

The 2021-2022 school year will be my 4th year, I have taught only at St. John's.
What are a couple unique qualities/skills about you?
I love reading, especially by the pool!
What are some personal items the families might like to know?
I am originally from Papillion, Nebraska. I attended Wayne State College where I met my husband, Darren. We were recently married in June of 2021 here at St. John's!
Who is your favorite Saint and why?
My favorite saint is St. Monica because she reminds me to have patience within my prayer life; God doesn’t answer our prayers when we see fit, He answers them when He sees fit.
What is your favorite Bible or Saint quote?
My favorite Bible quote Matthew 11:28-30, ““Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
What is your favorite prayer and why?
The Angel of God is my favorite prayer because it was the prayer I would always say to myself as a little girl when I would get scared. Since then, it has provided comfort for me when things get tough or scary.
Why did you choose to teach at a Catholic school? Or why did you choose to teach at St. John’s?
I chose to teach in a Catholic school because I love getting to teach my students about God and how they can best use the talents he gave them! I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!
