How long have you been at St. John School?
This will be my 12th year at St. John's.
What grade/subject are you teaching? Staff - where will you be working?
I will be assisting the para staff. I will be available in whatever capacity the staff or Mr. Arens wish to utilize me.
How long have you been teaching and/or when did you start teaching? If Staff - including St. Johns time, how long have you been doing the same type of job?
12th year at St. Johns
What are a couple unique qualities/skills about you?
I was a Registered nurse and worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital as well as Madonna Rehab Hospital since about 1973.
What are some personal items the families might like to know?
I will be helping at St. John's two days this year and will be at North American Martyrs School two days, doing similar work.
Who is your favorite Saint and why?
I have devotions special to the Blessed Virgin Mary and to St. Francis of Assisi. They are both patrons of my community: The Marian Sisters of the Diocese of Lincoln.
What is your favorite Bible or Saint quote?
No answer
The Lord's Prayer is special, because it was taught to us by Jesus and covers all aspects of my faith and desires. I love the Memorare Prayer to the BVM. -unfailing help from our Mother in heaven.
Why did you choose to teach at a Catholic school? Or why did you choose to teach at St. John’s?
I’ve always felt a warm welcome from staff, students, families, and priests at St. John's -even Fr. Johnson!
Anything else you want to add?
I am happy to return to St. John's, even if it is only for the two days, but hope to be able to be an asset for when I am able to come.
