How long have you been at St. John School?
I have been at St. John School for three years.
What grade/subject are you teaching? Staff - where will you be working?
I will be working in the library
How long have you been teaching and/or when did you start teaching? If Staff - including St. Johns time, how long have you been doing the same type of job?
I started teaching in 1965. I taught in Diocesan high schools for 25 years. I have taught here at St. John for three years. So I have been a grade school librarian for 29 years.
What are a couple unique qualities/skills about you?

What are some personal items the families might like to know?

Who is your favorite Saint and why?
I have many favorite saints. Two of them are: St Martin de Porres and blessed Margaret of Castellp. Maybe because they were so humble and generous hearted. Martin was a Mulato in Lima and so, often neglected and/or abused. Margaret was misshapen and disfigured from birth and was never loved by her parents who when she was about 18, abandoned her in a church in a city strange to her. Neither of them stopped loving those who mistreated them.
What is your favorite Bible or Saint quote?

What is your favorite prayer and why?
I think the OUR FATHER is my favorite prayer because it is Jesus' words, so he prays it with us, or we can pray it with Him.
Why did you choose to teach at a Catholic school? Or why did you choose to teach at St. John’s?
